Person of the week

To Queen Elizabeth who is celebrating sixty years on the throne. A fantastic achievement. To quote from something I heard on the BBC yesterday “the whole world has changed dramatically in sixty years but the Queen has stayed the same...” I feel that is a marvelous tribute because it clearly underlines her devotion to duty which has remained unchanged for so long. In these difficult times the Queen is once again a source of inspiration and her sixty years on the throne gives us a perfect excuse to have a party. With so much bad news around and doom and gloom the Jubilee celebrations will at least allow us to revel and celebrate her long reign for a few hours and enjoy ourselves. Jason Moore
