Each day when I read in the Daily Bulletin about the behaviour of some of the British holiday-makers I feel ashamed to say I am British. Friends of mine from the north of England arrived on Sunday evening to stay with me in Port Cristo happy to say still a peaceful spot. They had a horrendous flight with Jet2 from Manchester. A group of teen girls who were not just swearing but loud and foul- mouthed and a group of males average age twenty-seven who just encouraged the girls and were also swearing loudly, caused chaos. The passengers complained to the senior steward who said because she was at the front of the plane she had seen nothing. She ought to have spoken with the other stewards! Drinks were being pored over heads it was just crazy. I believe that action should have been taken by the captain but nobody wanted to deal with the situation. Is it any wonder that people feel they don't want to fly out here again. Why is it the British show themselves up?
