To the Spanish Ministry of the Interior who decided to make holidaymakers pay for translators when they are victims of crime. Tourists have to pay 50 euros to hire a translator when they make their official police statement. This is an outrageous state of affairs, especially when in other countries the service is totally free. Until recently translators were free; budget cuts forced the Ministry of the Interior to take radical action earlier this year.
