To the Lord Leveson report into standards in the British media. Leveson appears to be calling for more control over the free press in Britain, one of the pillars of our democratic system. How can we lecture the world on the need for democracy and free press when we try and muzzle our own media? Prime Minister Cameron is right to oppose part of the report. If Leveson´s muzzle is inserted then it will be a step back for the British media, not forward.
