TO the Spanish government which has stupidly increased taxes at a time when consumer morale is at an all time low. Every wage earner in the country will now see their income drop because of higher taxes at a time when many in the private sector have been hit by a wage freeze.

There are other ways to raise money instead of punishing the people who will eventually raise Spain out of recession. Cutting taxes will help recovery, raising them will hit workers hard.
