F OR Matt Prior, England's wicketkeeper-batsman who virtually alone in an innings of 110 not out saved England from what would have been an embarrassing defeat by New Zealand in the final day of their test match series. Prior's test match average is now higher than any previous wicketkeeper-batsman and he needs only one more century to match the record of the legendary Leslie Ames of the 1930s. A word too for Stuart Broad who partnered Prior for almost two hours before scoring a single run!
