...for the three Labour MPs -- Stephen Byers, Patricia Hewitt and Geoff Hoon -- who were caught red-handed by a hidden TV camera in the act of selling the expertise and contacts they had acquired as Cabinet ministers to a supposed businessman wanting access to influence. They have outlawed themselves from colleagues who once respected them and have also given the British public, on the eve of a vitally important election, yet more reason to question the integrity of the whole political process.
