DESPERATE SITUATIONS

Dear Editor, I keep seeing an advertisement in your paper saying “Rugby players wanted”. I know England were awful in the Six Nations this year, but are they really so desperate? ALLOW me to support your correspondent M Vane Perry's letter about doing something about the “botellon”. If any law-abiding organisation wants to hold a public meeting or a march in Palma they have to get permission from the police to do so. Someone must be organising this mass drinking session, even if by e-mail ot text message. The person or persons should be identified and told they need permission for their event, otherwise those taking part may be arrested.
