TO opposition councillors on the Calvia council who abstained against plans to outlaw streets prostitution in Magalluf this summer. The ruling Partido Popular had wanted to present a united front when they called on the central administration to pass new legislation which would rid Magalluf of street prostitution. The motion was carried because the Partido Popular has a majority but there was no united front because opposition councillors abstained.
