Toplans to restore the Virgin Challenger II, the power boat which set a world record for the fatest Atlantic crossing to its former glory. The vessel was discovered at a shipyard in Palma and will be brought back to life by a British businessman and a self styled boat nut. Margaret Thatcher sailed up the Thames alongside Richard Branson on the Virgin Challenger II after the successful record attempt. It is rather fitting that during the week of her death that the Virgin Challenger is to be restored again to full health.
