...for Sir Paul McCartney for the crass remark he made while receiving the Gershwin Prize for Popular Song from President Obama at a ceremony held in the Library of Congress. McCartney said: “Getting this prize would be good enough but getting it from the President is something else. In fact after the last eight years it's great to have a president who knows what a library is.” McCartney's cheap shot at George W Bush in the company of several leading political figures was inappropriate and embarrassing. (Mr Bush's wife was a librarian!)
