DEAR SIR, IT is good news for Majorca that the port is to be extended to allow for more and bigger cruise liners to visit Palma de Mallorca.
However I do hope the authorities will be innovative enough to make visiting a pleasure. For example I recently took a cruise from Palma, I live here, and on only 2 of 5 visits was any form of transport laid on to enjoy the cities.

The average age of the cruiser is getting older and many have walking difficulties and upon arrival at any port they look for ease of visiting so Palma lay on the city tour bus right into the port and encourage folks to get off and back on later thereby hopefully spending some much needed cash in our shops and coffee shops, but shopkeepers sensible prices please.
