I think one important thing we have all learnt from the pandemic is that the Balearics, not to mention many parts of Spain as a whole, are far too dependent on the tourist industry and Spain could be about to pay the price.

Here we are still in the middle of Covid mania , where we could leave behind the other mania , just back in 2019 , that there were just too many Tourists , Cruise Liners ,Rent a Cars , and that this needed a correction of about 30% : claimed Insustainable : Due to Covid it dropped to Almost zero for awhile , but actually both Summer of 2020 and now 2021 proved resiliant , and we’ve had some record numbers again. Now some fools believed in a 10 % increase , ( 9.8 to be exact ) but that is unsustainble ; what are we to double again in 10 years , whats that 40 million people coming to Mallorca in a summer ??? Be happy with 5 % or even 2.5% ; everything will be full , and thats enough !!!
Still censoring comments then I see.
Ya think!
