Majorcan clubbers flock to Eivissa

Many dedicated clubbers fly in to Ibiza for both the opening and closing parties of SPACE and this summer will be no different. Headlining the event tonight will be Sasha, John Digweed, Tom Novy and Steve Lawler, along with the club's resident djs. A Majorcan travel agency has been offering a special package deal to residents who want a taste of the Ibizan weekend. They are offering two deals, one for Sat/Sun/Mon with accommodation and club entry, the other for Sat/Sun, club entry but no digs. The party begins at 8am today and will last 22 hours. Majorca offers a variety of clubs and music to visitors and residents but Ibiza has always had the edge on the hard core clubbing scene. BCM in Magalluf is making a splash again this year with a comprehensive summer programme, hopefully enough to keep Majorcan clubbers with itchy dancing feet here on this island, instead of swapping it for the sweat and banging bass of Ibiza.
