Beryl Hodgson, the mother of 38-year-old Jeffrey Hodgson who went missing while on holiday in Ibiza has made another emotional plea for help in tracing him. Jeffrey Hodgson, who disappeared three weeks ago, is 38 but has the mental age of an eight-year-old. The epilepsy sufferer travelled with his parents to the resort of Calla Llonga but went missing just minutes after stepping off the coach. He has no money or language skills but is confident with using buses and his family believe he may have boarded an airport flight coach to a different resort. It is also possible that he has been abducted or taken in and looked after by one of the island's hippy communities, believe his family. His parents Beryl and Derek spent more than two weeks combing the area with the help of around 70 holidaymaker volunteers, hotel staff and tour reps. A British dog handling team was flown to the island and Mrs Hodgson also persuaded the island authorities to enlist a platoon of National Servicemen and a helicopter. Mr and Mrs Hodgson returned to their home in Stockport, Greater Manchester, over the weekend after they were told there was little they could do to help on Ibiza.
