Christopher Skase dies in Majorca

LATE FLASH Christopher Skase died last night after a long illness. Family sources told the Bulletin: “Christopher died at 9.15p.m. tonight at home in Andratx. His wife, Pixie, was by his side.” The former Australian tycoon had been fighting for his life for two years. His family were said to be distraught at the news. Skase was wanted in Australia in connection with the collapse of his leisure and media empire. He successfully fought off an extradition attempt by the Australian authorities claiming that he was too sick to travel back to Australia. There has always been plenty of doubts especially in Australia as to whether Skase was really sick. Last night all this doubts were dispelled.
