The most conflictive spot for traffic at the moment is Palma's Plaza España, where yet more changes in direction will be introduced this weekend, because of the road works. From today, the direction of traffic in Calle Bisbe Perelló will be changed, and it will now flow towards the Avenidas. From tomorrow, the access from the Plaza España to the Avenidas will be closed, although Calle Bisbe Perelló provides an alternative. The alternative routes offered by the council for access to Plaza Olivar and Plaza Conde de Rosselló from the Avenidas are: from the side of the area of the Institutos: Sant Miquel-Plaza Porta Pintada-Plaza de España-Convent dels Camputxins, and from the side nearest the sea: Sindicat-Josep Antelm Clave-Bastió den Zanoguera-Convent dels Caputxins. On Sunday, new road signs will be painted on the Avenidas, as the road works move from the Calle Marques de Fuensanta side to the Plaza España side.
