As part of a new environmental campaign, nearly 2'000 household special battery collection points are to be stationed across the Balearics. The campaign was unveiled yesterday by the Balearic Environment Minister, Margalida Rossello, who explained that the 1'800 containers will be installed over the next three months. The Ministry has chosen a series of locations which are easily accessible and where there is always a large concentration of people, such as supermarkets, shopping centres, electrical stores and schools as well as a number of other places which have pledged their support and involvement in the campaign.
