A runaway horse caused alarm after it escaped from the stables of Son Pardo and decided to explore Palma. It ended up at the Ses Fonts park near the conservatoire, which at that time of the afternoon, about 5pm, was full of children. The horse, a one-year-old colt named Hachis, was eventually rounded up, but not before it had trotted through various streets in Son Oliva, Amanecer and near the hypermarket in General Riera. More than 20 police were called out and they eventually caught the colt in the park - with the help of a two year old mare brought by the horses' owner. Once he saw the mare, Hachis let himself be led calmly into the waiting horse box, which took him back to Son Pardo.
A gallop to freedom!
