A police officer of Sant Llorenç is in hospital after being knocked down by a jeep as he went to report on a traffic accident. Emergency service sources report that the man, aged 26, was knocked unconscious and was rushed to Manacor hospital by ambulance. He is out of danger and will be discharged shortly. The officer had gone to the scene of a crash on the Artà road, where a Renault had crashed into a wall. A jeep suddenly went out of control at the same spot, hitting the officer. Both drivers were questioned about the double accident.
