The National Police have finally recovered the three year-old girl kidnapped from a Palma children's home by her parents last October. The parents, both drug addicts according to the police, had been hiding their child in the capital's red light district on an abandoned property occupied by squatters and with no running water or power. The child, who also suffered from a disability, was snatched from the home in October. The mother is a heroin addict and the father undergoing methadone treatment for his addictions. The child was last night back in the care of the home. The parents have not been arrested but an investigation has been launched by the Palma courts and police.
