Anger over car park

The PSM Majorcan Socialist Party has backed angry residents living along the Avenidas. Over the past few weeks the city council has been inundated with complaints, not only from residents tired of all the road works, but also about the fact that construction work on the new underground car park is being carried out on fiestas and that some nights work is continuing until the early hours of the morning. The PSM yesterday called on the city council to make sure that builders stick to a normal working day and that if the council is worried the project may not be finished on time, the local residents should not be made to pay by being kept awake all night. The PSM admits that ideally the projects should be finished as early as possible, but not by ruining people's lives.
