Capdepera Local Police took to being yesterday «the boys in blue» literally in protest over working conditions. In order to cash in the high profile the area had yesterday, hosting the second stage or the Tour of Majorca cycle race, the Local Police force took to their duties will their hair dyed electric blue in to attract the maximum publicity. The Local Police force was protesting over their working conditions. While the sight of a «thin blue line»on the streets yesterday was amusing, the protest is being taken very seriously and police chiefs is prepared to take the local council to court if needs be.
