There are 2.500 airline seats available for those planning to spend Easter away from the Balearics this year and the Balearic association of travel agents said yesterday that holidays on the mainland and further afield are selling well. Some trips are already fully booked with the mainland proving to be the most popular destination for the Easter holidays which fall earlier this year, at the end of this month. A large number of hotels in Majorca have dropped their prices over Easter in order to try and boost occupancy, but travel agents say that people in Majorca looking to do something different for Easter are flying off to other destinations.
