Mayor of Inca Pere Rotger has issued a statement about the local TV station which has started showing pornography after midnight. In answer to criticism from opposition councillors, he said that the town council has not authorised, nor is it the body to authorise or not authorise this TV channel because it is a private concern with its own autonomy. He added that apart from an agreement to announce municipal activities, the council had nothing to do with the station, TVI. However, he said that he had contacted the station to say that this type of programme was not advisable.
