Three men drowned in the Balearics on Sunday in three separate incidents. The first body to be found was that of a man police said was in his late twenties. The body was found at 7am on the Es Pouet beach near Sant Antonio in Ibiza. olice sources suspect that the victim may well have fallen into the sea on Saturday night. Later at around mid day a second body was found on the beach in the bay of Port des Torrent near San Jose in Ibiza. According to the emergency services, the red flag had been flying because of the poor weather conditions. Police believe that the victim, thought to have been British but whose age and identification has not been released, leapt into the sea with a group of friends after their yacht started having problems and taking on water. The third victim was a 60-year-old man who drowned while swimming in the sea along the Playa de Muro in north east Majorca. Emergency services reported that the man probably suffered heart problems while swimming.
