Anthea Turner joins the record breakers in Majorca

Scores of guests including TV personality Anthea Turner were in Puerto Portals last night to meet the Sunseeker XS racing team, the European power boat champions. It was a double celebration for Anthea Turner as she has just taken delivery of a 1.5 million pound Sunseeker Predator which she intends to moor in Majorca. The racing team also announced yesterday that next month they are planning to break the Around Britain record which presently stands at 30 hours. Once this has been achieved they intend to turn their attention to the Round the World Record. It was a gala event to thank sponsors of the racing team. The key sponsor is Lloyds Bank. This is their first season in competition and they are already European champions. Last year they smashed a number of world records. All the boats are made at Poole in Dorset.
