The Guardia Civil is continuing with its investigation into the death of German teenager Stefanie Ruggeberg in LLucmajor last month. Her body was found on September 20. Detectives have already questioned 25 friends of the teenager who lived with her mother and sister in Arenal while German police are also following up friends of the victim. She was last seen heading off to a local fiesta with a group of friends, mainly German and Dutch. However, the autopsy revealed no indication as to how the teenager died or whether she was murdered, the body was in too advanced a stage of decomposition. Most of the 25 people who have been questioned work in either local bars or discos in Arenal and police sources have been keen to stress that all of those questioned in Majorca are merely helping with inquiries. In Germany, police have managed to locate and question a young man called Markus whom the family first thought was Stefanie's boyfriend. Police are still hunting the real boyfriend and a colleague as they are convinced that both lads know something about what happened to Stefanie. Police in Palma are eagerly awaiting the final set of DNA results, expected next week as detectives need some clear evidence to work on. Next week's results will indicate of Stefanie was drunk when she died or had any other strange substances in her blood system. Police know that she did not die a natural death, the body was found half naked, but they still do not know if they dealing with a muder or homicide inquiry.
