This weekend sees the Bulletin embark on a historic first as we have produced a 40 page supplement for the prestigious World Travel Market (WTM) tourism fair in London which will be available both here in Majorca and in London. Our Sunday/Monday edition which has doubled in size over recent years, will consist of 80 pages, the normal edition plus the supplement. We have sent our delivery people on a fitness course so that they can cope with the additional weight of this bumper edition! The supplement will be available at a number of key stands at the fair including those belonging to the Balearic Ministry for Tourism and the Association of British Travel Agents who will be holding their annual convention in Palma next October. The Bulletin is also sending a team of people to the fair which is the focal point for the British travel industry. Apart from our normal staff writers, a number of key personalities have contributed articles including Tomas Graves, Selina Scott, the Director of Corporate Affairs of ABTA, Keith Betton, local hotelier and writer George Scott, award winning chef Marc Fosh, and London based artist Ken Smith. It also contains an in depth interview with Balearic minister for tourism, Celesti Alomar, a complete run-down on the tourist tax, an in depth interview with swimmer Xavier Torres by Matthew O'Connor, an insight into Majorca's finest beaches by Anne Kay, the cultural scene by Ray Fleming and Irene Taylor, and much more. Above all thank you, the reader, for all your support which is allowing the Bulletin to continue to grow and enter new territories.
