Real Mallorca coach Gregorio Manzano yesterday urged his side to improve their concentration before tonight's Copa del Rey, third round, first leg match against Valladolid. Mallorca, seventh in the league, are currently on a four match losing streak and need an injection of confidence and some defensive stability to help them return to the form that saw them in the title chase before Christmas. Manzano believes tonight's match against 13th place Valladolid can give the club the boost they need, but warned his side they need to improve at the back as well as mentally if they want to win. “The players have got to get it together defensively and enter the match with a much higher degree of concentration,” said Manzano. “We must try to get as far as we can in the Cup. “It's an important competition and one that we always take very seriously. “It's a tough tie because we're up against a side from the Primera division. “Because of that it's pretty important that we win at home so we can play the second leg with some confidence.” Manzano has said he will make four or five changes from the pitiful side that lost 3-0 to Sevilla on Sunday. Defender Federico Lussenhoff looks set to be replaced by Fernando Niño, while Julian Robles will lose his place in midfield. Veteran defender Miquel Soler could get a welcome outing at left back.
