AN 11 year old boy was taken to Son Dureta hospital in a serious condition on Sunday morning due to injuries suffered when he fell from the third floor of a building in Palma, according to sources from the emergency services.
The incident happened around 2am in a building situated in the Pasaje de Can Curt in Palma.
The National Police are investigating the circumstances of the fall.
The boy, who remained conscious through his ordeal, suffered a broken leg, which required an operation.
Neighbours allegedly told the police that there had been a party going on at the flat from which the child fell, and there was loud music.
The child fell on to a car parked outside the building.
A family member said that another relative who was in the street at the time had tried to catch the child.
