THE Majorcan Booksellers Association warned that there could be problems in supplying school textbooks at the beginning of the next school year.
The problem is that the textbooks for the first and third years of Secondary Education have not yet gone to the printing houses, and there is scarcely 10 days left until they will be needed to be sold for the start of the school year.

The President of the Association, Marian Colom, said that when the selling of textbooks officially starts on September 3 “many buyers will find that there are some which are not available”.

In addition to this, the situation will also affect textbooks for the first and second years of Primary Education, which are new this year.
