The Balearics is currently the region of Spain with the lowest number of ‘flu cases, according to the National Control Network based at the Carlos III Institute in Madrid.

The institute's latest data shows that there are 4.7 cases of ‘flu per 100'000 inhabitants in the Balearics.
The region worst hit is Asturias in North West Spain where 149.7 cases have been reported per 100'000 people.
However, the Institute said that so far, no major epidemics have been noticed and that fewer than usual people are being admitted to hospital.
