Balearics paid 4% more tax to Madrid last year l On average, every citizen in the Balearic Islands paid 2'067 euros to the Inland Revenue in Madrid last year, Central Government confirmed yesterday.

Despite the crisis, 4% more tax was paid to Madrid by people living and working in the Balearics than in 2010.
