Palma.—This week, leading department store El Corte Inglés opened a new supermarket in Puerto Portals especially designed and orientated to catering for and serving the yachting industry and nautical tourism.

Over the years, El Cortes Inglés has gathered a great deal of experience in working with the yachting industry and the supermarket is stocked with a wide range of food stuffs as well as electrical and domestic items and goods for the nautical sector.

The new supermarket will also create 15 new jobs in the port.
But, the new store is much more than just a supermarket - it offers a wide range of complementary services.
Making the most of all the services El Corte Inglés offers, clients will be able to hire cars, use the laundry service, the travel agent, order special items which are not usually in stock and even gourmet food s as well as cleaning services.

The supermarket will also stock the Grup Serra's daily newspapers the Majorca Daily Bulletin, Ultima Hora and dBalears and its weekly German publication Mallorca Magazin.
