Palma.—Over 500 mounted a loud and at times violent protest outside the headquarters of the Partido Popular and three police officers were injured, something which was strongly condemned by the PP and all the local political parties in Manacor.

Local and National Police were needed to control the situation and even the PP Mayor of Manacor, Antoni Pastor, who does not see eye to eye with Bauza over his policy on Catalan, admitted it as the worst night of his life.

However, not every one was sympathetic. The Socialists accused Bauza of deliberately winding up the general public with his harsh cuts and by using the police as private security agents.
