Palma.—Thousands of people descended on Capdepera yesterday for the annual medieval fair which continues today and over the years have developed into one of the most exciting and interesting fairs on the island.

Apart from over 170 exhibitors and stalls featuring traditional arts and crafts and a wide variety of food and local produce, throughout the day there will be live musical performances, dances and demonstrations by falconers.

The whole town, with its ramparts, has been decked out in medieval colours and many of the locals are in traditional dress just to add to the atmosphere.
