This Monday, Valencia will be hosting an interregional meeting on promoting the so-called “Mediterranean Corridor,” a European Union backed project designed to boost transport and business links in the western Mediterranean.

Representatives from Transport, Ports and Environment departments will be attending the meeting together with staff from Chambers of Commerce in the regions of Valencia, Catalonia, Murcia and the Balearic Islands.

Valencia's Territory and Environment Minsiter Isabel Bonig said that since the EU announced the project last October, each region has been formulating how it can contribute to the project in the short and medium term.
