Person of the week

Is England manager Roy Hodgson who appears to have got the England football team back on track. Hodgson had a nightmare task when he became England manager just a month ago; a depleted squad which had been hit by a whole series of injuries to top players. His management style appears to have done the trick; England drew with France and beat Sweden in performances which were far better than the usual England showing at European Championships. Hogdson has taken a group of players, some of whom, do not command regular places in their club sides, and has transformed them into a unit. England has its faults but so far Hogdson should be congratulated.
