Palma.—The National Police yesterday reported on the results of Thursday evening's raid and it was also claimed that Operation Panda dismantled the so-called Kung Fu gang which is being held responsible for the drug-related deaths of 12 people.

The Kung Fu gang was one of the island's largest and most active dealers in heroin and during the raid, eleven people, six men and five women, were arrested, 4'500 euros in cash seized, 300 lines of very high quality ‘brown sugar' heroin confiscated along with a pump action shot gun and a pistol.

Police sources said that the gang had been under close surveillance for some months in the build up to Thursday's raid.
