Palma.—The Speaker of the Balearic Parliament, Pere Roger attended court yesterday in Palma to hear declarations from people already implicated in the Over Marketing corruption scandal which has been linked to the election campaigns of the Partido Popular (PP) in the Balearics between 2003 and 2007 when Jaume Matas was the regional PP President.

Rotger was formally cited as being implicated in the case at the end of last week due to a contract signed between Inca town council and Over Marketing in 2008 when Rotger was a local PP Mayor.
