Palma's Express Brigade has responded to 8´064 callouts

Between July in 2011 and 31st October 2012, Palma City Council's Express Brigade has responded to 8'064 callouts from municipal residents for public repair work. Of this total 7'150 tasks were completed in less than 72 hours.

A further 914 jobs were undertaken and finished outside this time frame because they needed specialist solutions outside the capability of the Express Brigade. Infrastructure Councillor Sebastià Sansó said that the results mean the Brigade has been 88.7% effective during the period. The Brigade, which advertises on municipal buses, was an election manifesto of Partido Popular Mayor, Mateo Isern.
