The police captured two dogs and transferred them to the municipal pound in Calvia yesterday after the owner of the Can Barraca farm spotted them attacking his livestock yesterday morning.

The alarm, was raised at 9am when the dogs were caught attacking a flock of sheep and a goat.
Six sheep and a goat were killed while three other sheep were seriously injured and are expected to die.
According to the Local Police, the two dogs belong to a neighbour and, this is not the first time this has happened.
The farmer said yesterday that about eight months ago the dogs got on to his land and killed around 50 animals including rabbits and poultry.
