Palma.—The 42-year-old man arrested on Wednesday accused of having strangled at least two women until they lost consciousness in order to mug them was yesterday ordered back to jail.

The Spaniard had only been released from Palma Prison three weeks ago after having served a ten year sentence for numerous robberies and petty crime.
However, he carried out his first attack on December 12 and then the second, which was caught on CCTV camera, just a few days later.
The first victim was a 19-year-old student who had just finished her classes and was heading home.
The second was a 61-year-old Moroccan woman.
The suspect was finally caught on Wednesday after he robbed a stationary car at a traffic light near Pere Garau market.
As he ran off, he ran into a National Police foot patrol who took the suspect into custody.
