Monument to victims of Franco regime vandalised in Montuiri

Palma.Police have launched an investigation after a monument dedicated to the victims of former Spanish dictator General Franco was vandalised in Montuiri yesterday.

The monument was only recently unveiled. Police say that the attack was carried out in the early hours of yesterday morning.
A full investigation has been launched. Repairing the monument will cost a hefty sum.
