DOCUMENTS and case files affected by the arson attack on the main court in Calle Union last year, have been taken to the court in Via Alemania.
Some of them are scorched and others were soaked by the water used by the firemen to extinguish the blaze, caused when two Molotov cocktails were thrown into the court house. Most of the documents also smell strongly of smoke.
However, a spokesman said that many of them can still be used.
In the meaintime, civil servants are continuing with the arduous task of collecting and filing the documents.
No trials have been postponed or interrupted because of the fire.
