MORE Britons will take a holiday at home this year as caravans overtake Spain as Britons' most popular holiday destination.
Reports claim that more UK-based travellers are looking to take their summer holidays in Britain and fewer are heading overseas.
Research indicates that camp and caravan sites are most in demand while enquiries to UK hotels and traditional bed and breakfast establishments are down.

Telephone enquiry operator 118 says calls for caravan and camping sites rose by 40 percent in December and January.
