NEW WEB SITE FOR THE BALEARICS

A NEW “tool for tourists” went on-line yesterday with the opening of a regional website www.balearsculturaltour.es that aims to increase interest in visiting the islands during the “out of season” months.

People wanting to know more about coming to the Balearics during low season, can now log on to the cultural and environmental heritage section that each of the islands has to offer on the web site. Promoting the new facility yesterday, regional Tourism Minister Miquel Nadal said that the project had cost 91'000 euros to mount with a good part of the money ensuring that those visiting the site can read the information in Castillian Spanish, Catalan, English and German.
