THE investigation into the murder of Siobhan Kearney, the Soller hotel owner from Ireland who was found murdered at her Dublin home ten days ago, appears to be gathering momentum with the Irish police claiming they are closing in on the 37-year-old's killer. According to Irish media reports the police have found a series of discrepancies in the alibi of the 49-year-old chief suspect held and questioned for the maximum 12 hours before being released without charge. The police have said that the public response is proving very helpful and a lot of new information has come forward over the past few days. “Everything possible is being done to bring this man to justice,” the police have said. Kearney, who was planning on moving to Soller with her son full time, was strangled with the flex of a vacuum cleaner.
