A new high quality olive oil product was launched yesterday by the Oli Caimari company. It is called the Antoni Mateu Arbequina and is an oil made exclusively with the so-called arbequina olive.
The label on the bottle describes the new variety as a fruity oil made from a green, fresh, sweet-tasting olive with a highly palatable hint of peppery bitterness. The flavours are reportedly combined with subtle overtones of green almond, mint, artichoke and other fruits. The olives used in the manufacturing process are owned by the same company but the new arbequina olive oil is just one of several varieties produced by Oli Caimari.
